A session on "Drafting a Successful Business Plan" was conducted by Professor Tirthankar Nag, offering valuable insights into building effective business strategies. The session engaged 34 students and focused on the key elements of a successful plan, helping participants understand market analysis, financial planning, and execution frameworks crucial for entrepreneurial success.

Held on February 12, 2022, this engaging session featured Mr. Surbhit Lihala and Mr. Vishal Sudan, who shared insights on digital transformation, international business, and intellectual property. With 141 participants, the event sparked dynamic discussions on innovation and entrepreneurial strategies.

The event was organized by the Entrepreneurship Club of IMI Kolkata, was a dynamic B-Plan Challenge held during the institute's annual management fest. The event saw active participation from 65 students, featuring teams from premier institutes across India. Participants submitted, evaluated, and presented innovative business plans. The competition showcased entrepreneurial talent and strategic thinking. G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering emerged as the winner, followed by Goa Institute of Management and Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon as first and second runners-up, respectively.

The event focused on nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among PGDM students (Batch 2021–23) and introducing them to the institute's startup ecosystem and support infrastructure.
