The changing workplace spectrum has forced the HR of the organisations to wear multiple hats to facilitate the right workforce for the future. Hence, IMI Kolkata (under IQAC) was pleased to host the CHRO Symposium 5.0 based on the theme "Reinventing Talent Strategies for Future Workforce". The discussion was felicitated by the presence of our esteemed panelists: Mr. Sankara Reesu, CHRO, Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited; Mr. Ramakrishna Vyamajala, CHRO, Home First Finance Company; Mr. Rohit Manucha, CHRO, SIH - Aujan Group Holding and Ms. Trupti Shukla, Director HR, Optym, who discussed all facets of their strategies for the future including connection to the social front, onboarding a geographically diverse workforce, well-being of the employees, retaining existing talent and ensuring agility in the employees in an ever-changing market scenario. The Symposium was moderated by Dr. Sachin Modgil, Assistant Professor (Operations Management), IMI Kolkata who concluded the session post an engaging Q&A round with the students and a vote of thanks.
IMI Kolkata was pleased to host an insightful FDP event on September 8, 2022, and welcomed Dr. Satish Kumar, Associate Professor, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. The theme for the session was "Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis". The session was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Mohua Banerjee, Director, IMI Kolkata with a welcome note, followed by an engrossing session on literature review and SLR by Dr. Kumar where he shed light on types of Research and Purpose and overall review of SLR. The session concluded with the valedictory session wherein the attendees were awarded their certificates.
