IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for

  • Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
  • Relevant and quality academic/ research programmes.
  • Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society.
  • Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning
  • Ensuring credibility of assessment and evaluation process Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services
  • Sharing the findings from research work and networking with other institutions within and outside India.

Functions of IQAC

  • To develop and apply quality benchmarks
  • To design the parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution considering the quality perspective
  • To build a learner-centric environment to facilitate quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
  • To collect and analyze feedback on quality-related processes of the institution from all the stakeholders
  • To disseminate information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders
  • To organize inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promote quality circles
  • To document various programmes/activities that lead to quality improvement
  • To act as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
  • To develop and maintain the institutional database through MIS to maintain and enhance the institutional quality
  • To conduct periodic audit of the academic and administrative processes to identify deviations and follow-up for alignment with the quality parameters
  • To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC
