Area Wise Faculty: Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques

Dr. Shrivastava did B.Sc (H) in Mathematics and received his Master’s, M.Phil and PhD degrees in Operational Research from the Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi. His current teaching interest includes courses on decision sciences viz. Business Mathematics & Statistics, Operations Research, Quantitative Techniques, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Data Analytics. He has presented papers at conferences of International repute and won accolades for best paper presentations. He has been publishing extensively and serving as a reviewer for various journals of International repute. He has edited seven books published by Bloomsbury Publications & Taylor & Francis. He is the series editor of a book titled “Advances in emerging markets and Business operations. He is the managing editor of the International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management (IJSAEM), Springer and associate editor of IMI Konnect. He has organized International conferences & seminars in different capacities. He is also a life member of the Society for Reliability, Engineering, Quality and Operations Management (SREQOM).

Dr. Sachin Modgil is currently Associate Professor at International Management Institute, Kolkata. He is Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Operations. He earned his FPM in the area of supply chain quality from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai. He actively publish, present and participate in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Currently he is serving as a reviewer and editorial board member for international journals of reputed publishers from Elsevier, Emerald, Sage and Inderscience.

Dr. Rohit Kr. Singh is currently an Associate Professor at the International Management Institute (IMI) Kolkata. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Gwalior.

Dr. Singh is actively engaged in research and has published 60 papers in internationally reputed journals. He has played a key role in organizing academic events, having been the convener and organizing secretary international conferences in the field of operations and supply chain management. Dr. Singh is an Associate Editor of Global Business Review (ABDC, SCOPUS) and the Journal of Operations and Strategic Planning. In addition to his research activities, he serves as a reviewer for several prestigious international journals. Dr. Singh is also a valuable resource person for various Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and Management Development Programs (MDP). He has conducted numerous sessions on the application of multi-criteria decision-making in operations and supply chain management. His primary areas of interest include operations and supply chain management.
