About Rahul Kapoor

Dr. Rahul Kapoor serves as an adjunct professor, teaching entrepreneurship to MBA students, and actively contributes to India’s innovation ecosystem. He has helped develop unique entrepreneurship programs that are based on completely experiential learning. The programs, Local Business Accelerator and New Venture Development are now running for the 4th annual cycle.

Dr. Kapoor is the founder of Turnip Innovations, an online education platform dedicated to fostering innovation, intellectual property (IP) awareness, and entrepreneurship across India. With a PhD in Innovation Management from LUT University, Finland, and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering. Dr. Kapoor’s academic journey includes research stints at Solvay Business School in Belgium and TU Berlin in Germany. His early career spanned roles in manufacturing at Crompton Greaves and software development in Bangalore, providing a diverse foundation for his entrepreneurial pursuits.

In 2018, Dr. Kapoor launched Turnip Innovations to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application. The platform has since empowered over 100,000 learners through AICTE-evaluated courses on patents, big data, and entrepreneurship. Notably, Dr. Kapoor’s 2-Week Patent Course and 16-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Program received AICTE approval.
