The Placement Cell at IMI Kolkata provides students with the necessary resources to achieve their career aspirations. It works collaboratively throughout the year to help students make informed decisions regarding their career paths. At the beginning of the first term, the Learning and Development (L&D) Team at IMI Kolkata organizes one-on-one interaction sessions with alumni from various industries and functions. In the following terms, comprehensive resume review workshops are scheduled. As the placement season approaches, alumni, including
industry specialists, conduct extensive mock interviews tailored to the roles students aspire to pursue. Throughout the year, the IMI Kolkata L&D Team arranges and facilitates various sessions and workshops such as career pathways – functional overview sessions, industry deep dive workshops, resume building, leveraging LinkedIn. These sessions provide students with detailed industry insights and assist them in planning their careers meticulously.
