On 15 July 2023, IMI Kolkata Toastmasters Club under the IQAC quality initiative, successfully conducted an orientation event that proved to be highly engaging and informative. The orientation aimed to introduce the Toastmasters club and provide an overview of its core values and activities. The event was held at RP Goenka Auditorium and attended by 100 enthusiastic participants.
The orientation kicked off with a warm welcome from the club president, who highlighted the importance of effective communication and leadership skills in personal and professional growth. The agenda encompassed presentations from experienced club members, showcasing their journey and the significant impact Toastmasters had on their lives.
Throughout the session, the participants were actively involved in ice-breaking activities and impromptu speaking exercises, which fostered a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
