The collaboration between IMI Kolkata and ESC Rennes School of Business has taken an active shape with five students from ESC Rennes pursuing management courses under the exchange programme at IMI Kolkata during 2016-17. ESC Rennes School of Business is an institute that is distinguished for its research orientation, teaching and global outlook and holds all the triple crowns – AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.
Research is a major focus area at IMI Kolkata and its faculty members are also working on the creation of new knowledge. Dr. Arindam Banik, Director, IMI Kolkata, mentions, “Academic exchanges and joint research between the two research-active Institutes can help in bringing innovation in the courses taught. The cooperation will assist in imparting new insights, knowledge and skills to the students coming from or moving to a diverse set-up for a comprehensive erudition on the subjects taught”.
