IMI Kolkata organized an Open Management Development Programme on HR Analytics Tools for Decision Making, from December 12th-14th, 2019 at its campus at Alipore. This has been the first endeavour to conduct such a programme on HR Analytics Tools for Decision Making.
Professor Arindam Banik, Director, IMI Kolkata, Professor Sarojakshya Chatterjee, Dean- Management Development Programme & Executive Management Development Programme and Dr Soni Agrawal, the Programme Director commenced the event with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Professor Arindam Banik while delivering the welcome address for the participants mentioned that creation of a strong and stable management team is a key for an organization to achieve success. Professor Chatterjee emphasized on the expertise of IMI in conducting management development programmes, catering to the need of both, public and private sector organizations. Dr Soni Agrawal concluded by mentioning the constant need for upgrading skills and knowledge of the participants.
IMI Kolkata has successfully conducted various Management Development programmes and workshops since its inception in 2011. Though these programmes the institute endeavors to strengthen the knowledge base, expertise and skillsets of the participants. The faculty members are also enriched in the process through valued interactions and inputs./
The programme was aimed at understanding the rationale of measurements of HR, challenges and issues faced by HR managers while measuring HR interventions. It also focused on aligning HR and business goals, designing and developing HR metrics and analytics for the specific organization’s context supporting long term performance. It also analysed the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes while providing hands-on training on various tools on HR analytics.
