About Mohit Pathak

Dr. Mohit Pathak is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting at IMI-Kolkata, where he teaches courses ranging from Financial Accounting and Cost Management to Advanced Research in Accounting at the doctoral level. Prior to joining IMI-K in May 2024, he served as Programme Director and Assistant Professor at RV University’s School of Business in Bengaluru, overseeing the B.Com (H) curriculum and instructing undergraduates in topics such as Financial Statement Analysis and Corporate Finance. He earned his Ph.D. from Symbiosis International Deemed University in 2023 after completing his M.Com and B.Com at the University of Lucknow. Dr. Pathak is also UGC-NET qualified. His research interests include corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, ESG disclosure practices by corporations, and emerging trends in the area of finance and accounting. He has also presented research papers at several national and international conferences and published research articles in several reputed journals listed/indexed in Scopus, ABDC, ABS, WoS etc.
