About Ruchi Sharma

Dr. Ruchi Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), University of Delhi, with a research focus on software security and reliability engineering. She is UGC-NET and GATE qualified and has over 7 years of teaching experienceHer research interests span software security, software reliability, vulnerability discovery modelling, and analytics-driven vulnerability prioritization. She has authored numerous SCIE and Scopus-indexed journal papers in leading publications She is also a co-inventor of a design patent titled “Smart Food Scale,” registered with the Indian Patent Office.Dr. Sharma serves as Associate Editor for IJSAEM (Springer) and is a reviewer for renowned journals from Springer, Wiley, Emerald, and Inderscience. She has also chaired multiple international conference sessions and contributed as a resource person in AICTE-sponsored training programs and corporate workshops.

Dr. Ruchi Sharma’s research is anchored in the fields of software security, software reliability engineering, and vulnerability analytics. Her doctoral work at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), University of Delhi, developed assessment frameworks that enhance the understanding and modeling of software vulnerabilities and system reliability, contributing to the evolving discourse on secure software engineering.

Her research integrates quantitative modeling, machine learning techniques, and decision sciences to address real-world challenges in software testing, release planning, and cyber risk management. She has made significant scholarly contributions through SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, including Quality Engineering, Journal of Risk & Reliability, and International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management. Her recent works delve into multi-level vulnerability discovery modeling, anomaly detection using deep learning, and sustainable software release strategies. Dr. Sharma has also contributed to interdisciplinary domains, such as supply chain analytics and COVID-19 forecasting, showcasing her adaptability and data-centric problem-solving approach. Additionally, she has co-authored several book chapters with Springer and has presented her research at premier national and international conferences, including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IEEE forums. She actively contributes to academic discourse as Associate Editor of IJSAEM (Springer) and as a reviewer for top-tier journals published by Springer, Wiley, and Emerald.
