Mohua Banerjee

Dr. Mohua Banerjee is the Director, International Management Institute Kolkata (IMI Kolkata). She is also a Professor of Marketing in IMI Kolkata. She has done her Ph.D. in Commerce from the University of Calcutta and has over 20 years of academic experience.

As a Visiting Professor in foreign Universities like the Bordeaux University, University of Tours, University of Dauphine, and Celsa-Sorbonne University in France, she has taught courses on the Indian Perspectives of Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, International Retailing and Supply Chain Management. She has been a Visiting Faculty in the postgraduate departments of the University of Calcutta and St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. She has consulted in the telecom sector and has been actively involved in Retail Management curriculum development for National Skill Development Mission, NITTTR, Ministry of HRD.

Dr. Banerjee has undertaken Retail Research Project in collaboration with the University of Oxford’s, Oxford Institute of Retail Management (Saïd Business School) and conducted collaborative research in Agri-entrepreneurship with Leeds Beckett University, UK, under the aegis of the UGC-UKIERI Research Grant Project. As a researcher, she has authored research papers in international journals of repute that are available across scholarly indexes. She has published books and case studies that are available on the Harvard Business School Publishing, along with opinion pieces for management practitioner journals and newspapers.

She has qualified the “CMI Level 3 Award” for Leadership Development from Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK. Having qualified the “Proficiency Assessment” for Independent Directors by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Dr. Banerjee is an Independent Director on the Board of Electrosteel Castings Limited, and is a Member of the Corporate Governance Committee.

She is also an Expert Committee member in the National Expert Committee on Higher Education & Training, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Mohit Pathak

Dr. Mohit Pathak is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting at IMI-Kolkata, where he teaches courses ranging from Financial Accounting and Cost Management to Advanced Research in Accounting at the doctoral level. Prior to joining IMI-K in May 2024, he served as Programme Director and Assistant Professor at RV University’s School of Business in Bengaluru, overseeing the B.Com (H) curriculum and instructing undergraduates in topics such as Financial Statement Analysis and Corporate Finance. He earned his Ph.D. from Symbiosis International Deemed University in 2023 after completing his M.Com and B.Com at the University of Lucknow. Dr. Pathak is also UGC-NET qualified. His research interests include corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, ESG disclosure practices by corporations, and emerging trends in the area of finance and accounting. He has also presented research papers at several national and international conferences and published research articles in several reputed journals listed/indexed in Scopus, ABDC, ABS, WoS etc.

Arindam Bhattacharjee

Dr. Arindam Bhattacharjee is an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management area at IMI Kolkata. He earned his Fellow Programme in Management (equivalent to a Ph.D.) in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. Before joining IMI Kolkata, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak.
Dr. Bhattacharjee’s research interests lie at the intersection of leadership, employee well-being, and workplace behavior. He actively investigates topics such as High-Performance Work Systems, Abusive Supervision, Perceived Air Pollution, Cyberloafing, and Inclusive Leadership, among others.
He enjoys teaching courses like Human Resource Planning, Compensation Management, Human Resource Management, and International Human Resource Management.

Sweta Sinha

Dr. Sweta has completed her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak. She holds a PGDHRM (MBA-HR) degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi. She is UGC-NET qualified in the area of Labour Welfare/IR/HRM. She has over 5 years of industry-academia experience before joining IMI Kolkata. Her primary area of research is digitization in HR, virtual workplace, career transitions, workplace conflict, and work-family conflict. She has published several research papers in peer-reviewed and reputed international journals indexed in ABDC, Scopus, and ABS journal quality lists. She has also presented multiple papers at international and national conferences such as AOM, INDAM, etc. She utilizes conceptual, qualitative, and quantitative research methods for her research and is proficient in using statistical software such as SPSS, AMOS, and SmartPLS. She is an associate editor for IMI Konnect Journal and an active reviewer for several peer-reviewed and reputed international journals. She is a life member of the NHRDN Kolkata chapter. She is also a certified trainer for POSH, certified by SHRM.

Samyadip Chakraborty

Prof. Samyadip Chakraborty is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems and Analytics at IMI Kolkata. He is the Chair of Student Activity Council at IMI-K and Coordinator for the Center for Sustainability at IMI-K. He completed his PhD from IBS Hyderabad (IFHE University, AACSB accredited & NAAC A++), MBA from University of Liverpool, Liverpool, UK (triple crown accredited) and B.Tech from VIT University, Vellore. Prior to joining IMI-K, he was Area-Chair, Dept of Operations, IT and Analytics at IBS Hyderabad. He has teaching experience at JD Birla Institute Kolkata, Adamas University Kolkata and international research and teaching exposure as Visiting distinguished professor at UPH Jakarta (Universitas Pelita Harappan, Indonesia). He was a Visiting doctoral scholar at the University of Toledo (Triple crown accredited), Ohio, USA at the College of Business and Innovation (COBI). He has around 50 peer reviewed international journal publications (Scopus and ABDC listed) and around 80 international conference publications across various IITs, IIMs and premier B-schools in India and POMS conferences in the US. He is in the editorial board, as editor, member and permanent reviewers across different reputed peer-reviewed international and national journals. He teaches subjects like Analytics, ERP, Predictive Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, Statistics, Management information systems, operations management, project management and Supply chain management. His area of research interest is Analytics, Sustainability, Healthcare, Supply chain management and health information systems including electronic health records management. He is a proponent of carbon neutral U75 movement in the east and is a Net-Zero leader.

Rohan Mukherjee

Dr. Rohan Mukherjee has completed his MS and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in the domain of visual information processing and system design. He has also post-doctoral research experience in cutting-edge approaches of Machine Learning and AI. Prior to joining IMI Kolkata, he has worked at IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu and Goa Institute of Management. Rohan has published consistently in reputed journals and IEEE conferences in his area of expertise. His current research interest includes data analytics and machine learning and their application in business. Apart from regular teaching and research, Rohan has designed a few long-term and short executive programs with EdTech partners.

Sayantan Kundu

Dr. Sayantan Kundu is an Assistant Professor of finance at the International Management Institute, Kolkata. After graduating in Computer Engineering, he worked for Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. He obtained his MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2008 and thereafter worked in Wipro Technologies and IBM India as an ERP consultant. Sayantan has four years of experience in IT consulting. He is a fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (PhD) in the area of Finance and Control with minors in Operations. Post PhD, Sayantan taught at Calcutta Business School, Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, Xavier Business School Kolkata, and Praxis Business School before joining IMI Kolkata. He has a total of 8 years of teaching experience. His research interests lie in Capital Markets, Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Decision Sciences, and Risk Management. Sayantan has published more than fourteen research papers in reputed international journals. He teaches Portfolio Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Modelling and Analytics, Investment Banking, and Wealth Management and Alternative Investments at IMI Kolkata. Earlier, he taught Derivatives, Financial Risk Management and Financial Econometrics at IIM Ranchi and Project Management and Finance at Praxis Business School. He also conducted Management Development Programmes at IIM Ranchi and IMI Kolkata and Faculty Development Programs at Praxis Business School and IMI Kolkata

Sahil Singh Jasrotia

Dr. Sahil Singh Jasrotia holds an impressive array of educational qualifications and teaching interests, focusing primarily on Marketing. He has a Ph.D. in Management from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, India, and a Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of Jammu, India. Dr. Sahil is also a Qualified UGC NET in Commerce. He has extensive teaching experience, covering core and elective courses such as Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Models and Theory, Qualitative Research Methods, and Services Marketing.

Dr. Sahil has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Best Paper Award in the 4th Nordic International Conference organised by Inderscience publishers in 2022, Best Paper Award in the 3rd EBT Conference by the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and Best Paper Award in the Ibcd conference by DAVV University, Indore. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, International Journal of Bank Marketing, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Society and Business Review, and Journal of Non-Profit Marketing etc.

Arunava Bandyopadhyay

Dr. Arunava Bandyopadhyay is an Assistant Professor of Finance at IMI Kolkata. He holds a Ph.D. and an Executive MBA in Finance from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. Before joining IMI Kolkata, he served at Jindal Global Business School, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, and as a visiting faculty at IIFT Kolkata, where he taught FinTech.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay brings 7 years of corporate experience with Siemens Ltd. and Phillips Carbon Black Ltd. His teaching interests include Financial Modelling and Analytics, FinTech, Financial Risk Management and Applied Econometrics. He actively engages in research, executive education, faculty development programs, and consulting activities, particularly in thought leadership areas of digital transformation and sustainability. Dr. Bandyopadhyay has also contributed to research funded by the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX).

Kishalay Adhikari

Dr. Kishalay Adhikari has completed the Ph.D. programme in Management from the School of Management, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. His thesis work focused on analyzing the role of consumer brand engagement on enhancing brand loyalty in the automobile context. Towards his credit, Dr. Adhikari has published in high-quality journals, including Journal of Product & Brand Management, The Services Industries Journal, Journal of Internet Commerce, and Journal of Global Marketing, among others. His areas of research interest are customer engagement, social networks, relationship marketing, online privacy, and virtual communities.  During the PhD tenure, he obtained a fellowship from the Indian Council of Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. He is an active reviewer to different international journals of repute in the broader domain of brand management. Dr. Adhikari believes in the motto of “do beyond what’s expected and obvious”, both in professional and personal life.
